McKesson understood that important health benefits communications were not being properly conveyed to employees.

Readers were resistant to the dry, lifeless, reference material they were given every year.

To improve engagement and retention, we created content that was far more approachable and engaging by developing this personable explainer video. Using video and illustration, we humanized the content and invited users to enjoy the experience, while allowing them control over what they viewed.

The results speak for themselves, and the project was so successful, we were contracted to create another for the following two years.

For this version, we took a straight-forward narration and added illustration and animated elements to support the information being conveyed.

Character art gave the user a persona to attach the different plan data to and animated charts helped clarify difficult content.

A very low cost of entry coupled with high engagement and retention rates increased the ROI and perceived value of communicating with employees in this form.
